Get feedback on your Daily UI Challenge

Receiving valuable feedback on your design work is crucial for your growth as a designer. Over at The Designer’s Toolbox, we have a community on Slack where you can share your Daily UI work and get feedback from other designers.

Sounds good, right? If you want to join, fill out the form below to get an invite.

How does Daily UI work?

Back in the day, you could sign up for a service that would send out a UI challenge every day for 100 days straight. Before you knew it, the #DailyUI hashtag and a new trend were born.

We are going to do it a little differently. You will not receive a challenge every day. Instead, you can generate your Daily UI challenge on this page, work on it in your own time, and finally share it with us on social media and Slack. Here’s a quick overview.

  1. Use the Daily UI generator on this page. You can use it more than once to find a challenge you feel comfortable with.
  2. Take your time to create a design. You can take longer than a day. We like quality over quantity!
  3. Share your designs with us on Twitter and Slack!

Every submission will get its review and we’ll share the best ones every now and then on our social media profiles.

Until that happens, you can check platforms like Dribbble, Instagram, and Twitter for many great results that relate to this challenge.

How do I start Daily UI?

Starting your Daily UI challenge is very easy. Just follow the steps we’ve talked about on this page and you’re good to go! Once again, start by using the generator we’ve made available above.

As far as preparations go, you’ll probably need some tools. These could be Figma, Sketch, or any other prototyping tool. Inspiration might help as well, but more on that below.

There isn’t anything else to say about this. Good luck!

Where can I find UI inspiration?

Inspiration is a designer’s best friend. There are many, many places where you can find great design inspiration.

We’re going to start sharing the best results of our Daily UI challenge on social media, but there are also others. Here’s a list.

  • Dribbble
  • Behance
  • Reddit
  • Twitter
